Rajaseelan Tarrance Maria Antoneyo, (age 29), comes from a devout and strong Catholic family. His Uncle is a Roman Catholic Priest in Jaffna and his brother is a Catholic Priest abroad. At the age of 17, he joined the Catholic Seminary in Kandy and for six years attended the religious missionary studies. He underwent pre-novitiate training for one year.
Later he switched on to medical field and completed his degree as M.D. in acupuncture and homeopathy and worked with Dr. Anton Jayasooriya at Kalubowila hospital. Now he has his own private clinic in Kotahena. During the interview, he expressed that his intention was to be a servant of Christ in whatever denomination and whatever the Lord wanted him to serve and serve only Christ.
He strongly feels that God has called him to serve and also bring Church unity and to serve as many people as possible in the healing ministry irrespective of community divide. He ministers without any remuneration. Dr Antoneyo is now appointed as the Coordinator of Healing Ministries of the Diocese.
Presbyter’s Ordination
Joseph Gunalan Thiagarajah comes from a strong Methodist family. He has been a Deacon with the New Testament Church of God in U. K. since 1990s
He has also been a pastor in three Tamil Churches in an honorary capacity and gave God’s message over the Tamil Service Radio in UK during the years 1993-1996. He commenced his own business in 1996 in UK and started his own Ministry in Hatton among children. More than 150 children are being benefited. He served as a Circuit Steward for the Methodist Church in Hatton, served as a member of the Quarterly meeting and represented the Central Region at the Methodist Conference of Sri Lanka.
Since he always wanted to become a Minister to serve God, he has now joined CSI. He is appointed as the Coordinator of Ministries in Hatton-Dickoya Areas by the Diocese. Fortunately he has God given resources he got by his hard earning. He does his ministry with his own resources. Rev. Antany Sawerimuthu, the Area Minister of Nuwara Eliya has been doing the pastoral work all these days in Hatton.
He is the younger brother of the Bishop Daniel Thiagarajah. In his interview, he mentioned that he will abide by the assignments given to him and accept the discipline of the church and will not accept any remuneration.

After the ordination service , the parishioners had a followship breakfast
